"Wichita" is the light in the dark. I wrote this with the image of me standing at a podium or in front of a classroom enlightening budding talent. It has also become a song that helps me find peace with the young man I once was. Focusing on the beauty in the simplicity of this whole life thing.

Not as privileged but chivalrous,
Let her choose who she share me with,
Since I was still a shadow,
I had aspirations for the planets desecration,
And I'd prefer it postponed than not at all,
Told I would atone before I'm gone,
Latter still stands,
Bricks catch me if I slip,
Aim for the softest side of hands,
Hit 10 stick the landing,
They simply tell me how well I fit the parameters,
